Mr. Hans Ekow Dampson

Hans Ekow Dampson is a transformational academic administrator at the Office of the Registrar, University of Cape Coast (UCC) and is currently assigned to the Faculty of Educational Foundations. He offers academic and administrative support to aid in the effective administration of the University and contributes immensely to the advancement of administration at UCC.

Hans is a University at Buffalo Global Leadership scholar and holds a Master of Business Administration (General Management), a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Management Studies from UCC. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC), Ghana.

He has practiced higher education administration over the past 14 years and acquired appreciable knowledge and progressive experience in his area of specialisation. He has served on a number of boards and committees and gained extensive knowledge in committee work. He has previously served at the Training and Development Section of the Directorate of Human Resource, the College of Distance Education and the School of Medical Sciences where he contributed immensely to advance the development and image of these Sections and the University as a whole.

Ekow is critically minded, innovative, affable and able to harness team strengths to enhance productivity. He loves sightseeing, listening to inspirational music, organising events and playing volleyball.
