Eric Agyenim-Boateng, holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) since 2014 and an Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK).
Eric is presently the Head of the Budget and Treasury Section at the Directorate of Finance, University of Cape Coast. He is also the Project Accountant for over 15 foreign funded research and consultancy projects including the One Ocean Hub Project, E-MARGIN Project, Leap Agri Project, Cowpea Project, RUFORUM Project, etc. Eric also serves as the Schedule Officer for the UCC Insurance Desk and the Secretary to the UCC Central Budget Committee
His areas of specialization covers budgeting and budgetary control, financial and management account reporting, financial management, corporate fleet and insurance management and public sector accounting. Eric, until January 2022, was the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Mfantseman Municipal Assembly and also served on the Audit Committee of the Central Regional Coordinating Council. He currently is the Chairman of the Assin North & Central Health Directorates' Audit Committee and also a member of the Audit Committee of the KEEA Municipal Assembly.
