Nasir Yaqub Entsie is currently a Senior Assistant Registrar and Heads the Senior Members Section of the Directorate of Human Resource. He was the former Head of the Documentation and Information Section, Directorate of Public Affairs at the University of Cape Coast as well as Head of Administration, Pro Vice-Chancellor's Office. He has been an administrator since 2004. Nasir holds M.Phil in Administration in Higher Education from the University of Cape Coast, Dip. in HR from Galilee International Management Institute, Kibbutz Mizra, Israel and Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA) from Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants, Ghana.
His research interests are in committee system and governance in higher education institutions. He has published in national and international journals and services a number of committees at the University of Cape Coast. Nasir has also attended national and international training seminars and conferences.
Nasir is a self-motivated Administrator who has passion for his work. As an experienced Administrator, he pays attention to details and high rate of accuracy, completing multiple tasks simultaneously which has enabled him to excel in his work and achieve quality results. Nasir has analytical ability and can analyse issues objectively. He is hardworking, intelligent, team player, responsible and humble. Socially, Nasir is a good mixer and interacts well with both direct support, peers and superiors with emotional stability.
