Mr. Isaac Adom-Konadu holds a Master of Philosophy (Administration in Higher Education) and Bachelor of Education (Educational Foundations) with Business Management as a major, all from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in 2010 and 2003, respectively. He also holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Galilee International Management Institute, Israel, in 2022.

Mr. Adom-Konadu is a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC) and Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA), UCC Chapter. He has over twenty (20) years of experience in university administration and leadership and held many headship positions at the University of Cape Coast. 

Mr. Adom-Konadu was appointed a Senior Member in the University of Cape Coast in 2012 and has rose through the ranks from Junior Assistant Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Senior Assistant Registrar to Deputy Registrar. 

Prior to his appointment as Director of Human Resource of the University in August, 2024, Mr. Adom-Konadu served as the Head of the Senior Members Section of the Directorate of Human Resource for seven (7) years from 2017 to 2024, Head of Administration, School of Graduate Studies for five (5) years from 2012 to 2017 and a Chief Administrative Assistant at the Department of Educational Foundations for over six years. 

Mr. Adom-Konadu’s research interests or areas of specialization are Human Resource Management, Talent Acquisition, Administration, Human Relations, and Customer Satisfaction/Care. He Has Successfully developed and implemented various Memos, Reports, Position Papers, and other Policy Documents that have supported the University’s goals and enhanced staff engagement. He has received several awards, grants, and recognition within and outside the University. 

Mr. Adom-Konadu has served and continues to serve (either as Recorder, Secretary, Member, or Chairman) on the University of Cape Coast’s Committees and Boards. These include the Appointments and Promotions Board, the Senior Members Disciplinary Committee, the Administration Appointments and Promotions Committee, and the Staff Reward and Recognition Committee. On two occasions, he was Secretary to the Search Committee for the Appointment of Director of Finance for Koforidua Technical University. 

Mr. Isaac Adom-Konadu is well-resourced in talent acquisition, performance management, employee welfare and relations, and training and development, making him well-rounded person who can provide expert advice on human resource matters to the Appointments and Promotions Board, the Vice-Chancellor, and the Registrar. Mr. Adom-Konadu is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Agnes Adom-Konadu, a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, University of Cape Coast and they are blessed with five children: Martina, Kwaku, Blessing, Dorica, and Nkunim.
