Prof. Bernard Yaw Sekyi Acquah is an Associate Professor of Curriculum and Teaching at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and currently serves as Head of the Department of Arts Education. His teaching, research and professional interests include curriculum and teaching, teacher education, effective teaching and learning, curriculum implementation and evaluation, human resources development, and teacher professional development. His work is focused on improving the quality of teaching and learning and strengthening teacher education in Ghana. Prof. Acquah previously served as Head of the Department of Business and Social Sciences Education, Director of the Center for Teacher Professional Development (CTPD) at the University of Cape Coast, where he led teacher professional development programmes and initiatives. He also served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Education, contributing to the academic and administrative leadership of the Faculty and supporting initiatives in teaching, learning, research and academic development. Prof. Acquah has contributed to research, educational programme development, professional training and policy initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of education in Ghana.
