About

Mr Enoch Apori Ansah holds MPhil (Curriculum Studies) ICT from the University of Cape Coast. He is a Assistant Registrar at the Institute of Education in the area of ICT. His research interests are instructional design and technology, curriculum and instruction and teaching and learning of ICT Education in basic school.

He has had experience deploying and maintaining online platforms using MOODLE since 2014. In 2019, he served as Technical Advisor to the committee by the University of Cape Coast to recommend the online platform to be used by the University. In 2020, during the COVID pandemic period, he was made the Team Leader in deploying online teaching and learning at the University, Colleges of Education and Distance Education. He facilitated trainers of trainers workshops and also lectures and students of the University, Colleges of Education and Distance Education. He was a committee member in developing policy on online teaching for the University of Cape Coast. He continues to work as a site administrator for the university MOODLE platform. He has worked in various capacities in using online mode in teacher training across the country.      

He has been involved in international research projects such as Right to Play Partners in Play Project in Ghana funded by LEGO Foundation through Right to Play in collaboration with the Open University, UK (2020-2023); Africa-Asia University Dialogue Research for Basic Education Development Project Phase II (2009-2012) funded by MEXT and CICE- Hiroshima University, Japan; Consortium for Research on Educational Access, Transitions and Equity (CREATE) Project, which was a multi-site study involving India, South Africa, Bangladesh and Ghana (in collaboration with University of Sussex, UK) and funded by DFID from 2009; A comparative study on Universal Primary Education in Ghana (2011). Data Input and Analysis project funded by the Japanese Ministry of Education in collaboration with Kobe University in Japan.

He is a member of Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA); Professional Board and Awards Committee, Institute of Education; ICERDA 2023 planning Committee; Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programmes Committee; Committee for the Implementation of the Training and Retraining of Private School Teacher.
