Cornelius Adorm-Takyi (PhD) is a lecturer at the Department of Accounting, University of Cape Coast.  Cornelius obtained his PhD (Business Administration), Master of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He also holds an International Management Certificate from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Bonn, Germany.

Cornelius teaches courses like Foundation of Accounting, Audit and Internal Review, Auditing and Assurance Practice, Cost and Management Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.

His research interests include audit quality, financial reporting disclosure practices, internal control, audit and assurance practice, and entrepreneurship.  He has published in top-tier Scopus-indexed journals like Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies, and The International Journal of Business and Management. Cornelius is a reviewer for the Journal of African Business.

Cornelius adapts well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and is open to sharing innovative ideas.
