Mr. Elvis Atta-Saah is a Chartered Accountant with over ten years post-qualification experience. He was in-charge of the University of Cape Coast Final Account Unit preparing the consolidated financial statements for the institution from 2013-2020. He help the University to produce its first IPSAS compliance Financial Statements in 2019.
He is highly dedicated and ambitious. He is a person with interpersonal skills and have the ability to get along well with people.He is always eager to learn something that may be use for future. He is able to work on his own without supervision and always meet deadlines that are set before him.
Mr. Elvis Atta-Saah holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Cape Coast and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce(B.Com) from the University of Cape Coast.
Mr. Elvis Atta-Saah had attended several Training Workshops and Conferences including 6th Africa Congress of Accountants (ACOA), Organised by the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA) in Maputo, Mozambique, Training Workshop on UCC Financial Regulations, Policies and Procedures and IPSAS compliant Chart of Accounts Organised by the Directorate of Finance, University of Cape Coast and many others.
He is an expert in the preparation of financial Statements and business software implementation. He has also developed business software applications like AR Software, Inventory Management Software and Point of Sale software to solve business problems.
He was the coordinator for the University's Directorate of Finance Accounting Software (Topaz Accounting Pro.). He trained a lot of people on how to use the Topaz Accounting Software. He also set-up the cash receipting system to enable the generation of electronic receipts for the University's Main Cash Office, University's Health Directorate Cash Office, UCC Printing Press Account Office and College of Distance Education Account Office. He was the lead member for developing IPSAS compliance Chart of Account for the University's Directorate of Finance and also setting it up in the University's Accounting Software.
He is the chairman of the audit committee of AAK District Health Directorate, Abura Dunkwa Hospital and Assin South Health Directorate.
He was a Senior Course Tutor at College of Distance Education from 2016 to 2021 and taught Financial Reporting and Cost and Management Accounting.
He is currently the Head of the Financial Accounting Section, College of Distance Education, University of Cape Coast.
