Dr. Alex Boadi Dankyi

Dr. Alex Boadi Dankyi is a Research Fellow at the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Consultancy, of the University of Cape Coast, Ghana in West Africa. He is currently the head of Research Performance and Dissemination of the University of Cape Coast. He is equally the Acting Head of Grants, Consultancy and Contracts. He is the data provider for the university of Cape Coast to Times Higher Education World Ranking, Impact Ranking and alll other externally requested institutional based data. He holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Coast and a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Jiangsu University. He is also a Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Advance Scholar (2022). He further holds a certificate in Environmental and Social Management for Health Projects from the World Bank Group. He has extensive training and practical experience in quantitative analysis, budget development and management and research administration. His research focus includes Innovation and Sustainability Studies, Human Capital Development, Health Quality Management and Energy Economics. He has undertaken research studies in Ghana, Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Europe. His recent interest touches on the circular economy. He aims to explore the role of human capital development in economic systems based on the reuse and regeneration of materials or products, especially as a means of continuing production in a sustainable or environmentally friendly way. He is a recent winner of the IREX University Administration Support Program's (UASP) Research Management and Leadership Fellowship.
