Ivy Ama Kpodoe (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Education and Psychology, University of Cape Coast. Dr. Kpodoe teaches Special Education at both Undergraduate and Post-graduate levels. In addition to teaching, Dr. Kpodoe also serves as a resource person for students with special needs in the university. Her resource services are rendered at the Resourse Center for Alternative Media and Assistive Technology (R-CAMAT).

Her research interest includes but not limited to:

  • Educational management of learners with Emotional and Behaviour Disorders

  • Instructional Strategies for teachers in Inclusive schools

  • Promoting Inclusive environments for persons with special

  • Building capacity for teachers in special schools
