Dr. Gideon Kwesi Obosu is a Senior Lecturer in special education at the Department of Education and Psychology at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is currently the coordinator of the Center for Child Development Research and Referral, He holds a Ph.D. in Special Education and M.Phil. degrees in Special Education and Art Education, alongside a Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting. His research focuses on special/inclusive education, deaf education and sign language studies, particularly in developing contexts. He teaches and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students and actively supports deaf learners through interpreting. Dr. Obosu also coordinates disability and special needs programmes, contributes to curriculum development and engages in international research, promoting inclusive and equitable education systems.
