Professor Emmanuel Kofi Gyimah is an Associate Professor of Special Education at the Department of Education and Psychology of the Faculty of Educational Foundations, College of Education Studies, University of Cape Coast. He is prolific researcher and holds a doctorate degree which he obtained from the University of Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom.

He has extensive teaching experience and taught both at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels in the university.

He has supervised/co-supervised more than forty MPhil Theses and several undergraduate Project Work. He has also had an opportunity to assess colleague staff papers that promoted them to the rank of Senior Lecturer. Officially and unofficially, he has mentored over 15 Faculty members.
