Teaching & projects

I am a meritocrat, who believes in rewarding effort over potential. As an adherent to the scientist-practitioner model i believe that students must be as capable of discovering relevant and new knowledge as they must be of applying knowledge in various aspects of thier lives. My background as a clinical psychologist has helped me to develop a sense of empathy and supportiveness whilst challenging my students and holding them to te highest standards of academic excellence and self-discovery.
