Louis holds Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Cape Coast. He is currently Chief Accounting Assistant and finance professional at the Payroll unit of the Directorate of Finance, University of Cape Coast. He plays a critical role in supporting the Directorate’s Management Team through the execution of core payroll and accounting functions.
His professional responsibilities encompass the processing of staff salaries and a wide range of claims, including part-time teaching, examination-related claims (invigilation and marking), and teaching practice allowances for both on-campus and off-campus supervision. He is also responsible for administering various staff-related financial transactions, such as loan repayments, insurance deductions, welfare contributions, and other statutory obligations.
Louis is further engaged in the processing of promotional arrears and extra-teaching load claims, ensuring adherence to established financial regulations and institutional policies. His work is characterised by precision, accountability, and a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of the University’s financial processes.
He holds academic qualifications in Accounting and Finance and continues to advance his expertise through ongoing professional development, including training in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
His professional interests lies in payroll administration, and institutional financial compliance. With over a decade of progressive professional experience at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) He has risen through the ranks from Accounting Assistant to Chief Accounting Assistant. He remains committed to contributing to the effective and efficient financial administration of the University of Cape Coast.
