Dr. Priscilla Boafowaa Oppong is a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), assigned to the College of Distance Education (CoDE). She specializes in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Global Value Chain Management.
She holds a PhD in Management from the University of the Witwatersrand (2024), with her thesis focused on procurement and supply chain management. Additionally, she is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS-UK, 2022). Her academic credentials include an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (2019) and an MBA in Human Resource Management (2018) from UCC, BSc in Accounting and Finance (2014) from KNUST as well as a Teachers Cert “A” (2005) from Ofinso College of Education.
Dr. Priscilla Oppong has extensive teaching and professional experience. She has served as a Senior Procurement Assistant (2022-2024) at UCC, a Course Tutor (2019-2023) at CoDE, and a Teacher (2005-2018) in Ghana Education Service. She teaches Supplier Relationship Management, Negotiation Process and Management, and International Procurement.
She is actively engaged in professional development, participating in GHANEPS E-Procurement Training (2024) and Research Methodology Seminars (2020). She enjoys singing and reading and remains committed to enhancing procurement education and practice at UCC and beyond.
