Professional Biography
Mrs. Nana Yaa Asarewaa Sarkodie Nunoo is an accomplished university administrator with over a decade of experience in higher education administration.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance (2010) from Christian Service University College (then affiliated with the University of Ghana), a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management (2015), and a Master of Commerce in Human Resource Management (2023) from the University of Cape Coast. In addition, she holds a Diploma in Information Technology from NIIT.
Mrs. Nunoo began her career at the University of Cape Coast in 2012 as a Senior Administrative Assistant. Over the years, she has served in various key units of the University, including the School of Biological Sciences, the Directorate of Human Resource, and currently, the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. Her professionalism, dedication, and commitment to continuous learning have supported her steady rise through the ranks—from Principal Administrative Assistant (2016) to Chief Administrative Assistant (2022).
Through her work, she has gained extensive experience in academic administration, policy implementation, event coordination, staff supervision, and stakeholder engagement. She is widely recognized for her interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
