Eric Opoku-Antwi is a Ghanaian working at the University of Cape Coast as Lecturer of Kinesiology in the College of Health and Allied Sciences (CoHAS), UCC.
He obtained his Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He further proceeded to Shanghai University of Sport to pursue a Master of Sport Medicine on a Ghana Government Scholarship and later a Shanghai Government scholarship to study Kinesiology for PhD.
He is a sport scientist and a member of the Ghana Association of Sports and Exercise Sciences and has assisted in training several sport scientists in the country. He has developed a niche for research in the area of sport science and kinesiology.
Dr. Opoku-Antwi has published in well noted peer review articles.
