Mr. Emmanuel Aidoo holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) Degree in Economics from the University of Cape Coast in collaboration with the Africa Economic Research Consortium's (AERC) Joint Facility for Electives (JFE) with specialisation in Corporate Finance & Investment and Monetary Economics.
He is currently a Senior Assistant Registrar at the Office of the Registrar, University of Cape Coast, and the Head of the University Governing Council Secretariat. He has considerable experience (spanning over a decade) in higher education administration and has, over the years, acquired knowledge/experience and developed a flair in legal environment of tertiary education in Ghana.
He serves a number of crucial Committees in the University including the Governing Council (as Recorder), the Finance Committee (as Secretary) and the GUSSS Management Board (also as Secretary). He is also a member of the Board of Convocation of University of Cape Coast.
His experience covers verification of academic qualifications, servicing of Boards and Committees, implementation of academic policies and management of programmes accreditation.
Mr Aidoo is also a part-time Lecturer and teaches the course Comparative Analysis of Economic Development in Africa and the Caribbean at the Centre for Africa and International Studies, University of Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa.
