Emmanuel Arthur-Nyarko is currently a Senior Lecturer at the College of Distance Education, University of Cape Coast. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Communication and Technology and a Master’s degree in Education Technology from Kenyatta University and the University of Cape Coast, respectively. He is an astute Instructional Designer and Educational Technologist. Dr. Arthur-Nyarko has served on several committees at the University. He is the Coordinator for eLearning at the College of Distance Education, a position has held for the past three years and spearheading the digitization of distance learning content and the designing of online materials for distance learning students. He has a lot of expertise in online course design, teaching, and learning. He teaches Online Course Design, Management and Technology, Programming in Visual Basic, Computer Networking, and Fundamentals of IT Education. His depth of knowledge in project management is phenomenal. He
has organized a lot of training on online teaching and learning, developing online content for distance students and effective ways of organizing synchronous online lectures and designing online courses using the community of inquiry model for lecturers. He has publications in high-impact journals in digital technologies and eLearning. His research interest includes online course design, digital technologies in teaching and learning, digitalization, and distance learning. He has attended a lot of international conferences, both locally and abroad.
