Dr. Obed Uwumbornyi Lasim

Dr. Obed Uwumbornyi Lasim is a lecturer at the Department of Health Information Management, University of Cape Coast. He worked at the University of Cape Coast Hospital as a Biostatistician prior to his current appointment. He has more than ten years of experience in Health Records Management. Dr. Lasim holds a PhD in Health Promotion from the University of Cape Coast; Mphil in Health Informatics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology; BSC. Statistics from University of Cape Coast; and HND Statistics from Takoradi Technical University. His research interest includes; data quality, health information management, electronic medical/health records, maternal and child health.
