Mac Junior Abeka(PhD) is a Lecturer at the Department of Finance, School of Business, University of Cape Coast Ghana. Dr. Mac obtained his PhD (Business Administration), Master of Commerce (Finance), Master of Science (Economics) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Prior to his appointment as a Lecturer , Dr. Mac was a Teaching Associate at Department of Finance of the School of Business, UCC, where he played an invaluable role in handling undergraduate course like Quantitative Methods, Managerial Economics and Applied Macroeconomics.
Dr. Mac is also a Tutor at the College of Distance Education, UCC, where he has taught courses like Statistics for Business research, Project Finance, Accounting and Finance for Managers, and Financial Markets and institutions.
Dr. Mac loves to participate in peer research in the area of Financial Economics, Corporate Governance, Energy Economics, Financial Markets and Institutions, Trade Policy, and Institutional Quality. He has published in top tier scopus- indexed journals like Thunderbird International Business Review, Journal of African Business, Cogent Economics and Finance, Cogent Business and Management, and Journal of International Trade and Economic Development. He has also served as an ad-hoc reviewer for high-profile peer-reviewed journals like International Journal of Social Economics, International Journal of Managerial Finance and Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies.
