Dr. Maame Gyamfua Asante-Mensah received her bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana in 2011 and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2017. From 2013 to 2015, she worked at the University of Cape Coast, as a research assistant. She completed her PhD in Computational and Data Science and Engineering from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), Moscow, Russia. Her PhD research was on the use of deep learning and tensor completion methods for biomedical signal reconstruction. Dr. Asante-Mensah currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Her current research interests include tensor completion, artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision and randomized algorithms for multilinear algebra.
