Prof. Vanderpuye is the current Coordinator of the Centre for Alternative Media and Assistive Technology. She holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Educational Psychology and Special Education, respectively. She has been a PhD holder from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom since December 2013. Her PhD study was concerned with parental perception, expectation and involvement in Inclusive Education. Her publications focus on various pertinent issues in special and inclusive education such as parental involvement, support services for children with special needs, perceptions about inclusive education, sustainability of inclusive education and preparation of inclusive education. Her interest in the development and practice of Inclusive Education is overwhelming. She is willing to collaborate with any organisation or institution willing to research into Inclusive Education.
