Felix Adu-Poku is currently the Head of University Relations Section of the Directorate of Public Affairs at the University of Cape Coast. Felix has previously served as Senior Assistant Registrar, Public Relations and Protocol Section; Assistant Registrar, Public Relations and Protocol Section; Junior Assistant Registrar (Deputy Station Manager, ATL FM) and Senior Technician in charge of Sales and Marketing, ATL FM.
Felix is an accredited PR practitioner and a consummate marketing and communication professional with over 20 years working experience. He has a unique expertise in higher education branding and marketing as well as public relations and event management. Felix has advised management on various issues including mainstreaming social media in the University’s communication platforms. He has also been at the forefront of University events, both academic and non-academic.
Felix holds MBA (Marketing) by Research, MA Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from the University of Cape Coast. Prior to his university education, he obtained Higher National Diploma (Marketing), from the erstwhile Cape Coast Polytechnic, now Cape Coast Technical University. He is an Accredited Member of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, Chattered Member, Chattered institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC).
