I am an optometrist, lecturer and vision science researcher. My research interests are in functional assessment of vision with the aim of understanding how these are altered in various eye conditions. I also seek to improve early detection and monitoring of potentially blinding silent eye diseases such as amblyopia, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy in low resource environments. I am also interested in the development of optometry and vision science education in Ghana and other West African countries. In the latter, I am following in the footsteps of my late father, Dr Francis Kojovi Morny, who established the two optometry schools in Ghana.
