Present
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that education is a transformative and collaborative process that empowers students to become critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and responsible contributors to society. I am committed to creating an inclusive, learner-centred environment that encourages active engagement, intellectual curiosity, and the free exchange of ideas.
As an educator and Library and Information Science professional, I emphasize the development of critical thinking, information literacy, research skills, and ethical engagement with emerging technologies. My teaching integrates interactive learning strategies, real-world applications, and digital tools to enhance student learning and prepare graduates for the evolving demands of the knowledge economy.
I view assessment as a means of supporting learning and continuous improvement, providing constructive feedback that fosters academic growth and self-reflection. By linking theory to practice and incorporating contemporary issues into the learning experience, I seek to inspire students to become innovative, adaptable, and socially responsible professionals. Ultimately, my goal is to facilitate meaningful learning experiences that empower students to achieve their academic, personal, and professional potential.
