Daniel Ampem Darko-Asumadu (PhD) is a lecturer in the University of Cape Coast and a multi-disciplinary researcher with specific interest in Labour Relations, Social Work, Industrial Sociology, Organisational Behaviour and Sociology of Education. His research interest in interrogating work-academic-life demands and rural livelihoods have resulted in been consciously, actively and directly involved in several field projects organised by the Directorate for Research, Innovation and Consultancy (UCC) and Ministry of Finance, Ghana, United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI) and Solidaridad West Africa. In all these projects, he acted as either the lead investigator and/or supervisor. His ambition to make enormous research impact in the aforementioned areas is evident in publish papers in refereed journals such as Africa Journal of Social Work, African Journal on Social Issues and Open Education Studies. His future goal is to be more involved in applied research with the aim of making positive change in our socio-economic-political landscape.
