Dr. Anthony Koomson

Dr. Anthony Koomson holds a PhD in Science Education from the University of Cape Coast, MA in Science Education from Institute of Education, University of London and BSc Chemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He is a Lecturer in Chemistry Education in the Educational Outreach unit of the Institute of Education and a Coordinator of Science Education at the Colleges of Education. His research interest is in the development of Science Process Skills in Science Education, Teaching Chemistry and Science in context familiar to the learner. He has about 6 years teaching experience in both inner and outer London in the United Kingdom and also 11 years teaching experience at Apam Senior High School in Ghana. Anthony has taught science and coordinated the University of Cape Coast, College of Distance Education programmes at Apam Centre for the past 6 years.
