My research interests are in visual impairment and low vision care and with special enphasis on service provision. I am an optometrist and a low vision practitioner and this has a significant bearing on my research interest. I am also engaged in promoting and developing low vision training in the University of Cape Coast. Clinical teaching is at the core of my work. I have been involved in developing optometry in Malawi and supporting other optometrist in other African countries to upgrade their competencies. I am currently working across five African countries to develop a working document for low vision care development.
