John K.E. Edumadze is a visionary academic leader and the Director of ICT Services at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana, with a career spanning over two decades dedicated to transforming education through technology. He is a champion of digital transformation, cybersecurity awareness, and educational equity, passionately committed to equipping African higher education institutions for the future. His work is a testament to his intellectual rigor, ethical transparency, and collaborative spirit, positioning him as a forward-looking changemaker on the global stage.

Dr. Edumadze's journey is one of continuous growth and strategic leadership. He holds a PhD in Computer Science Education from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Master of Science in Computer Application Technology from Hohai University in China. His extensive professional certifications, including those as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and an IT Business Manager, reflect a career dedicated to both technical expertise and strategic management. Since joining UCC in 1994, he has steadily risen through the ranks, from a National Service Person to the acting Director of ICT Services, a role he has held since 1st August 2024.

Dr. Edumadze's passion for digital transformation is not just about technology; it's about people. He has spearheaded numerous initiatives to create a robust and resilient digital ecosystem at UCC, driven by the belief that technology can democratize education. His blend of practical implementation and scholarly inquiry ensures that his initiatives are both impactful and grounded in research.
