Iddrisu Abubakar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an MBA in finance from the University of Cape. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) since 2017. In addition, He holds a post-chartered diploma in treasury and financial risk management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
Abubakar is an Accountant at the Directorate of Finance, University of Cape Coast. He is currently serving as the Accountant for the Faculty of Educational Foundation in the College of Education Studies. He also serves on the management committee of the UCC Common Fund
He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Assin North District Assembly, Assin Bereku. In addition, He is the chairman of the Audit Committee of the KEEA Municipal Health Directorate with oversight responsibility for Elmina Polyclinic and Ankaful Leprosarium & General Hospital. He has also served on the Audit committee of the Trauma and Specialist Hospital, Winneba.
Abubakar is currently the organizer for the Cape Coast District Society of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
