Robert Ofori Abosompim is an experienced chartered accountant and recognized professional with a background in payroll management, academics, administration, and financial management. Since 2015, he has been the Head of Payroll and Terminal Benefits as well as a Senior Accountant at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Mr. Abosompim has been a Chartered Accountant from 2011 and a proud member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), since 2012. His professional journey exemplifies a steadfast commitment to financial integrity, transparency, and the adoption of innovative financial practices.
He possesses a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, a Bachelor of Education in Social Sciences (Accounting) from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, and a proud product of University Practice Secondary School, Ghana.
His career exemplifies a blend of administrative expertise, academic dedication, and leadership in governance. Since embarking on his professional journey in 2008, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, innovation, and service in various capacities.
In 2014, Mr. Abosompim transitioned into academia as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Business and Social Sciences Education, where he continues to share his knowledge in auditing and mentor students. His dual role as an administrator and educator underscores his versatility and dedication to professional growth.
Beyond his roles at UCC, he has made significant contributions through various Committee engagements, reflecting his leadership and governance acumen.
