Mrs. Gladys Ewurama Edumadze is currently the Senior Assistant Registrar in charge of the Central Regional Office, College of Distance Education. She joined the University of Cape Coast in 2006 as a Principal Teacher for 8 years at the Basic School and worked as a Professional Administrator for 12 years. As an Administrator, she worked at the Department of Management Studies, School of Business, and University Library (Sam Jonah Library) and now at the College of Distance Education. 

Gladys Ewurama Edumadze holds a Leadership Certificate from the University at Buffalo, USA, a Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Administration, a Chartered Professional Administrator and a Chartered Management Consultant, CIAMC- GH, Accra. Her areas of interest are the use of IT in  Administration and Management, Leadership and Studies in International Students.  

She possesses the following core competencies: Interpersonal and negotiation skills, Innovation and creativity skills, communication and motivation skills, organization and delegation skills,  strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills,  and mentoring skills. She has written memos, proposals, and other write-ups to influence policy decisions. She has some publications to her credit. She has also served on some University Committees within and outside the University as Secretary, a Member or both. 

Gladys has attended some conferences, workshops and seminars for academic, professional and social development.
