Dr. Gerald Atampugre is an integrated geographer with deep interest in the spatial interactions within and between social-ecological systems. His research interest is on a range of issues around climate change adaptation, water resource management and land use/cover dynamics. He has extensive teaching and research experience through his affiliation with the University of Adelaide, Wageningen University and University of Cape Coast. He also has working knowledge of research techniques such as Geographic Information Systems, Indicator approaches (indexing), Thematic and Content Analysis, and Citizen Science. He is currently interested in climate vulnerability and adaptation dynamics in the context of social-ecological systems, particularly in semi-arid zones.
