Mrs. Eunice Nartey is Technology Transfer Officer at the University of Cape Coast. She holds an MPhil Degree in Intellectual Property jointly offered by the Africa Regional Intellectual Property Organization, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the Ghana Industrial Property Office. She also holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Accounting and Management from the University of Cape Coast. Eunice is a Member of the Intellectual Property Network in Ghana. She is also a member of the WIPO International Network for Intellectual Property Education (WINIPE).
Mrs. Nartey joined the University of Cape Coast as Paralegal Officer and Administrator for the University’s Legal Affairs Office in 2018. This role afforded her extensive experience in the legal practice in Ghana and beyond. At this role, she was credited with the establishment of an effective document processing and case monitoring system which greatly facilitated the work of the office. She also trained and mentored all service persons assigned to the office, equipping them with essential soft skills among others.
As Technology Transfer Officer, Mrs. Nartey has led the drive to improve intellectual property awareness on the University campus and has facilitated several trainings on intellectual property considerations for grants making.
She has also provided consultancy services on complex intellectual property issues to industry, NGOs and practitioners. She is results oriented, detail focused and committed to teamwork. She possesses extensive leadership and managerial skills with proven success in managing and leading teams to consistently achieve desired results.
