About

Mr. Eric Mante Pimpong is a multipurpose computer professional with well-rounded technical and practical knowledge in ICT. He has extensive experience in software development, network administration, and database management. Mr. Pimpong has successfully implemented various IT projects, ensuring smooth operations and efficient systems. His ability to adapt to new technologies and his dedication to continuous learning make him a valuable asset to any IT team.

He is a systems analyst and  head of the E-Learning and Knowledge Management Section at the University of Cape Coast. In this role, Mr. Pimpong oversees the development and maintenance of the university's e-learning platform and knowledge management systems. He collaborates with faculty members and IT staff to assess their needs and develop innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience for students. Under his leadership, the E-Learning and Knowledge Management Section has received recognition for its user-friendly interface and seamless integration with other university systems. Mr. Pimpong's passion for education and technology is evident in his commitment to providing a dynamic and engaging online learning environment for the university community.

Mr. Pimpong has been at the University of Cape Coast since 2004, starting his work as a maintenance programmer. He has assisted in redesigning and migrating various separate systems into the university applications. He is results-oriented, committed to teamwork, and has successfully managed and led teams. 

He is a Member of the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS, UK).
