Dr. Emmanuel Asare Bediako is a senior lecturer in Technical Education who has been involved in the teaching and learning of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) subjects for more than two decades. His area of interest is in Technical Skills Teacher Education with focus on innovative teaching strategies that incorporate technologies. He has huge experience in the design of Technical Skills curriculum due to his deep insight into the principles of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

Teaching & projects
Emmanuel believes that job skills that are needed presently will soon change because of changing global trends in skills needs. He believes that transversal skills and competences will endure and that TVET students need to master transversal skills in order to be able to adapt appropriately to the dynamic contexts of their future life and work. In this regard, he seeks to help understand the types of transversal skills needed in the employment communities in order to be able to expand the scope of youth's employability.
Presently, Emmanuel is seeking to gain insights into how teachers could be made more receptive to educational innovations that correspond to global standards, especially in the use of technologies in teaching. It is his dream to push for the total incorporation of modern technologies into Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) curricula.
