About

Dr Edward Nii Amar Amarteifio is a senior lecturer, financial advisor, grant and business plan writing expert, an entrepreneur, a consultant, career advisor and a researcher with a wide range of business and financial-related issues. He holds a PhD in Development Studies with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Small Business Finance, MBA (Finance). He works at the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Enterprise (CESED), School of Business, University of Cape Coast. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). He has vast experience in managing Small and Medium Enterprises. He has been involved in developing and training public and private sector organisations in financial planning, financial management, strategic planning, business plan writing, and grant and proposal writing. Edward is currently the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development (CESED) of the University of Cape Coast. He is also the project lead (UCC chapter) for the Systems Change Programme under the Education Collaborative. He has done a number of training and consultancy services for International organizations like Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) – MOAP, Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), Rainforest Alliance and many more. He is also a trainer for the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) under the Ministry of Business Development, Ghana.
