Daniel Boison (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics from Jiangsu University, China in 2016. He also obtained his MSc (Analytical Chemistry) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana and BSc (Chemistry) from University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He has been involved in medical research including Synthesis of compounds for anticancer activities. His current research interests are in screening natural products, especially plants for pharmacological activities and determination of the mechanism by which the plant exerts its pharmacological effect. Daniel has been teaching Biochemistry students since 2017 and he is currently the Registration and Examination Officer, Department of Biochemistry, School of Biological Sciences.
