David Larbi is a Higher Education Administrator and a Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA) with over 20 years of experience in university administration. He holds an M.Phil in Higher Educational Administration from University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa, Certificate in Professional Leadership Empowerment from University at Buffalo, New York, USA, Certificate in General Management for Senior Executives from Administrative Staff College of India and Certificate in Leadership and Management of Higher Educations Institutions from Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands. His top five (5) Clifton Strengths for managers are Learner, Achiever, Responsibility, Harmony and Arranger.
He is member of Chartered Institute of Administrators & Management Consultants-Ghana (CIAMC) and Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA).
He has served in various leadership roles, including Faculty Officer, Secretary to the Institute of Education and Ag. College Registrar. He is servicing a number of statutory Boards/Committees and also serving on a couple of them in the University. David’s expertise lies in the use of ICT for administration, operational efficiency, higher education administration/management, students services and strategic planning. He is known for his ability to streamline administrative processes, enhance students engagement and academic programme implementation. David is passionate about supporting faculty development and fostering a student-centered learning environment. He is also a strong advocate for integrating ICT into educational administration/management and practices.
