Mr. Maxwell Abedi is a forensic scientist at the University of Cape Coast, Department of Forensic Sciences, and a Ph.D candidate at the University of South Africa, School of Criminal Justice, College of Law, Department of Police Practice. Mr. Abedi's expertise and specialization includes forensic ballistics (firearm and tool mark examination), criminal justice, police science and technology, security studies, fingerprint science, trace evidence,  and crime scene investigation/management. Mr. Abedi holds a certification in cyber security management from the Presbyterian University College, Ghana. He is a past member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).
