About

Isaac Tetteh Commey, a registered mental health nurse with of  sixteen years of experience in the mental health discipline. He had his training as a mental health at the Ankaful Psychiatric Nurses' training college, Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. He was then posted to the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital and worked as a mental health nurse caring for patients and families with varied degreews of mental health problems. He worked at the acute, chronic units and the drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre as an addiction counsellor. He then continued to pursue a bachelor of science degree in Mental health nursing at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Upon completion, he was then temporarily appointed as a clinical instructor on secondment to the department of mental health, UCC from the year 2019 to 2021. In the yearv 2022, Isaac was appointed as an assistant lecturer with the department of mental health, UCC. He has facilitated  a number of courses in the area of mental health nursing. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the North West University, South Africa. He has published and still publishing in peer reviewed journals.
