Dr. Francis Nkrumah is a Lecturer of Physics with research experience in Atmospheric Physics, Meteorology, and climatology. Dr. Nkrumah’s research interests cover multidisciplinary areas, a reflection of his diverse professional training in Hydro-climatology, Climate dynamics, Atmospheric Physics, Dynamical meteorology, and Agro-climatology. Dr. Nkrumah obtained his BSc, MPhil, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Cape Coast. His professional development includes publications in Mesoscale Convective Systems, cloud physics, extreme rainfall events, regional climate modeling, climate projections, and global warming. Dr. Nkrumah has taken many other professional training abroad including the Institut des Geosciences de l'Environnement, Grenoble, University of Grenoble Alpes, France, UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, Wallingford, Oxford, United Kingdom, and the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy, and has presented his research findings at different local, national and international conferences. He is a contributing author to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 6th assessment report. Dr. Nkrumah enjoys making music, and playing and watching football. Married with children.
