Dr. Sylvia Ocansey specializes in adolescent and youth development, though a counsellor by training and profession. As a mother with over fifteen years of counselling experience, Dr. Ocansey seeks to assist many youth to achieve their lifelong goals. Her specific areas of interest include providing educational, social and HIV/AIDS counselling. A current lecturer at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, West Africa, and with her PhD in counselling, from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, Dr. Ocansey has immense confidence in the benefits of academic counselling among higher education students worldwide. Aside teaching, making presentations and conducting research, Dr. Ocansey also has a number of academic publications in counselling and other key social areas to her credit.
