About

Regina Obilie Amoako-Sakyi is a Transport Geographer with the University of Cape Coast. She has been working on child and youth mobility issues in Ghana for over a decade now. As a rising academic, she has considerable number of publications on a cross section of transport and mobilities issues focusing on women and children and the youth in both rural and urban contexts. Her work also covers child pedestrian safety, safe and secured walking environments and bus transit service quality. Currently, she is working on harnessing driver-child pedestrian relationships in improving child pedestrian safety in Ghana.
