Dr. Razak Jaha Imoro is currently a full time senior Lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Cape Coast. He holds a Ph.D. in (Development Studies) from the Institute of Development Studies University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Dr. Razak Jaha Imoro also completed his BA Degree in Sociology from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Cape Coast from 200-2004 and a Master of Philosophy Degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana Legon in 2008. He is a Harvard Law School—Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) alumni 2014-2015 and Commonwealth Universities Study Abroad Consortium, (CUSAC) scholar 2012. His main research interests include migration, conflict, development, social policy, social protection, peace studies and alternative dispute resolution. Dr. Razak Jaha Imoro has also carried out some consultancies for both local and international organizations including the National Peace Council of Ghana and The Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA). He has a number of publications to his credit in renowned and peer reviewed journals including International Journal of Peace and Development Studies, Studies in Gender and Development in Africa, Ghana Journal of Development Studies, and Legon Journal of Sociology.
