Prince Charles Lawson is a Lecturer at the Department of Information Science. He  holds MPhil, M.A (Information Studies) from University of Ghana, Master of Arts(Peace and Development Studies) from University of Cape Coast, Bachelor of Arts(Sociology and Social Work) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Diploma in Education (Dip.Ed),University of Education,Winneba-Ghana and  Professional certificate in modern ICT tools for information management from the University of Pretoria. My research interests span across the academic library spectrum and these involve Staff productivity and motivation, Social media usage among academics, Collection Development and Reference and Information Sources. Prior to his appointment , he was the Sectional head  in charge of Persons with Special Needs at Sam Jonah Library and also served as Academic Liaison Librarian for the College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences(CANS),University of Cape Coast.  Prince Charles Lawson has been teaching Information Literacy at regular and sandwich since 2015.

I believe that every learner has the ability to succeed when given equal opportunities, proper

guidance, and a supportive learning environment. My role as a teacher is to inspire, motivate,

and facilitate learning in ways that recognize the unique strengths, backgrounds, and learning

styles of each student.

I strive to create a classroom atmosphere that is inclusive, respectful, and engaging, where

students feel valued and encouraged to participate actively in their learning. I promote critical

thinking, creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning by using diverse teaching methods

that meet the needs of all learners.

I view education as a transformative process that empowers individuals to reach their full

potential and contribute positively to society. Therefore, I am committed to fostering

academic excellence, personal growth, and character development in every student entrusted

to my care.
