Paul Agu Asare (PhD), is an Associate Professor at the Department of Crop Science, School of Agriculture, University of Cape Coast. He holds a PhD in Crop Science with emphasis on Plant Breeding and Agronomy. He has taught over seven years in the department in several courses related to crop improvement. Paul has extensively worked on root and tuber crops especially cassava and sweet potato. His research interest is on characterization (using both morphological and molecular markers) and selection of superior genotypes for specific need. Prof. Asare He also supervised several dissertations, these and published several articles in reputed peer reviewed journals. He has attended several workshops and conferences.
