Patrick Osei-Kufuor is a Senior Research Fellow with the Department of Peace Studies, School for Development Studies, University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Dr. Osei-Kufuor's research places emphasis on peace and development nexus with specialisation in conflict analysis, conflict mapping, conflict sensitivity, early warning system design and peace education. He is a conflict management trainer and a professional mediator. Specifically, his research focuses on understanding conflict and peace building for development and poverty reduction. He is a certified trainer in conflict management, security management and development. He has undertaken several training programmes for institutions such as the National Peace Council of Ghana, the National House of Chiefs, Ghana, Parliament of Ghana, and Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies. He is an adjunct lecturer at the Police Academy in Ghana. Dr. Osei-Kufuor has been involved in a number of international research projects and is currently a member of the UNDP Team undertaking the Conflict Development Assessment for Ghana.
