Dr. Musah Dankwah works at the School for Development Studies (SDS- hitherto IDS), University of Cape Coast as a Research Fellow, where he also obtained his PhD Degree in Development Studies. Dr. Dankwah earlier obtained a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, Netherlands with specialisation in Human Resources and Employment Studies. He pursued his first degree in Social Studies Education at UCC.
Dr. Dankwah’s key capabilities are in the areas of Teaching, Research, Advocacy and Management. Aside teaching at the secondary school for few years, all his teaching experience has been at the University. Dr. Dankwah has taught a number of courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the regular and sandwich programmes at SDS for more than 10 years. Courses taught include Research Methodology, Labour legislation and International Labour Standards, Labour Relations in the Informal Economy, Human Resource Development, Occupational Health and Safety among others. He has worked on important Research Projects for the University and other affiliate organisations.
